Learning Squared Liberia Awarded GlobalGiving Site Visit Verified and Vetted Certificates

Learning Squared Liberia was awarded the GlobalGiving site visit and vetted certificates. These awards are apart of the GlobalGiving program, which recognizes partner organizations for the incorrigible and significant work they do in their regions. The award also acknowledges us for hosting a field team member whose visit is an essential and integral part of working with partners.

During field visits the team interacted with the Learning Squared Liberia Country team, beneficiaries, local leaders, women, and other stakeholders on the project. As a result, the team got to listen and understand our challenges first-hand.

We are excited to share with our team, board members, supporters, and donors our latest accomplishments and the congratulations of earning a Site Visit Verified and Vetted organization award for 2019!

During a brief statement to the country team in Liberia via skype, the President and CEO of Learning Squared Liberia noted the significance of keeping the bar high and making every experience worth remembering. Especially in reaching out to our beneficiaries, donors, and partners about programs and services that are intended for them.

Finally, thank you to our country team, staff, and volunteers for their continued support and commitment to see a better society.

Announcing Learning Squared Liberia back to school book ride 2019

Antioch, California August 12, 2019

Learning Squared Liberia formerly IDA-Liberia is embarking on 15 day back to school book ride in Liberia , West Africa. The book ride will take place between September 2 -20, 2019, visiting schools in Montserrado, Margibi, Bassa, Bomi and Cape Mount Counties. The book ride is an initiative of Learning Squared Liberia that is aimed at providing free school supplies ,including notebooks, pens, pencils and other learning materials to students benefiting from our direct scholarship program and other underserved rural students in the community.

During the book ride, students will receive free school supplies, interact with our team and volunteers to seek information about our 2019-2020 scholarship program. Your support and sponsorship for this year’s back to school book ride is needed and will significantly add value to work with children in Liberia. We envision every child having the best learning opportunities possible, beginning with the tools they need to succeed in the classroom.

The Back to School Book Ride will provide underserved students with the supplies they need to succeed this school year. Our goal is to give away school supplies to over 3000, 1- 6 grade students in five counties we are currently implementing our support to rural education initiative in Liberia. Your support is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to working with you to help students in rural communities in Liberia start the year off right!
