December 20, 2023, Monrovia, Liberia, Learning Squared, a civil society organization improving communities in Liberia by focusing on education, social and economic livelihoods, and grassroots community civic engagement, is thrilled to unveil an exciting new project that will provide essential support for 50 children in Liberia.
Like many other African countries, Liberia faces numerous challenges in ensuring access to quality education for all its children. Learning Squared's mission is to address this disparity by taking tangible steps to make education more accessible and impactful for the underprivileged youth in Liberia. GYP Debate Club, recognizing the importance of this mission, has committed a contribution of $2,400 to the project, spanning the next six months starting from January 2024.
Learning Squared, in collaboration with the GYP Debate Club, will offer educational scholarships to 50 students in three schools in Montserrado and Margibi counties, including ROSODAN School System, Ann Sandell International School, and Deacon Weh Institute School. These scholarships will cover school fees and other essential supplies, ensuring these children have the resources to thrive academically. The project aims to improve the quality of education by providing additional resources to students. Learning Squared is committed to improving education and ensuring every child has access to education.
Learning Squared's CEO, Anthony S.
