Learning Squared Liberia receives donation of 300 backpacks for 2019-2020 school year

Learning Squared Liberia, formerly IDA-Liberia, received a donation of 300 backpacks for 2019-2020 school year. The donation was made possible by an anonymous donor from the United States. The materials will form a significant part of our support to education in Liberia. Receiving the donations on behalf of Learning Squared Liberia, Executive Director Anthony S. Kolaco expressed profound gratitude to the donor, and stressed the significance of the donation to the advancement of Learning Squared’s mission in Liberia.
Mr. Kolaco pledged Learning Squared’s commitment to reaching out to as many deprived communities, women and children in Liberia. Mr. Kolaco noted the significance of the contributions and untiring efforts of all staff for leading an institution that is committed and dedicated to increasing access to education, improving the quality of education and strengthening communities in Liberia, Africa and the world at large. Mr. Kolaco reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to making sure that every child in rural Liberia gets an opportunity to learn. This is a huge and remarkable sacrifice Learning Squared is willing undertake in our society.
He expressed deep appreciations to supporters, donors and other well-wishers of the initiatives driven by Learning Squared. “Your donations and contributions are surely making life worth living in rural Liberia. Women, children and communities are impacted positively by your donations and contributions. Because of your support and donations, children have hope for a better tomorrow, and their hopes are alive again,” he said.
