Turning Pages Together: Back-to-School Book Ride 2023

Monrovia, Liberia, September 19, 2023, Liberia Learning Squared organized its third annual "Back-to-School Book Ride" campaign in Montserrado County, Liberia. This remarkable initiative successfully brought together over 100 students, school administrators, parents, principals, and community leaders at two locations within Montserrado County. The primary objective was to enhance access to education for vulnerable and underserved school-going children in rural Liberia by equipping them with essential learning materials.

This noble endeavor transcended the mere distribution of school supplies; it symbolized a community united in investing in the future of its children. At both the Deacon Weh Institution and Ann Sandell International School in Montserrado, Liberia, an atmosphere of enthusiasm and hope prevailed as students received crucial items such as notebooks, pens, pencils, and backpacks. These seemingly simple tools hold immeasurable value, empowering young learners to embrace their education with enthusiasm and determination.

Learning Squared Liberia's "Back-to-School Book Ride" campaign did not only improve access to educational resources but also fostered unity and collaboration within the community. It underscored the significance of education as a means to uplift individuals and communities, especially in underserved areas. The dedication of all those involved, from organizers to volunteers and donors, demonstrated a collective commitment to enhancing Liberia's educational landscape.

Speaking at the program, the CEO of Learning Squared, Anthony S. Kolaco, reemphasized the organization's commitment to making an impact beyond the immediate distribution of school supplies. "They instill hope and motivation in the hearts of young students, inspiring them to pursue a brighter future," Anthony Kolaco noted. Additionally, they serve as a source of inspiration for others to engage in acts of kindness and support for education, further fortifying the community's bonds.

The success of Learning Squared Liberia's campaign stands as a testament to the positive change that can be achieved when individuals and organizations unite to invest in education and the well-being of youth.

It serves as a heartwarming example of the transformative power of prioritizing the education of our children within the community.
